1. MATH 110C, Calculus III

This course teaches about vectors, curves and surfaces in 3-dimensional space. Students will learn about the differentiation and integration of multivariate functions. Students will also learn about various theorems such as Green, Stokes and Gauss.

2. MATH 80, Probability and Statistics

This course covers descriptive statistics. Students will learn through the organization of data, sample surveys, experiments and observational studies. The course covers topics such as correlation, regression lines, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and Probability theory.

3. MATH 95, Trigonometry

In order to be eligible for this course, students must have completed MATH 60 or placement in MATH 95. The professor of the course is John Versoky. The course is worth 3 credits.

4. MATH 110A, Calculus I

Calculus I covers single-variable calculus. Students will learn about limits, continuity, differentiation, and introduction to integration.

In order to register for the course, students will need to have completed MATH 90 and MATH 95, or MATH 92 and MATH 95, or placement in MATH 110A. The course is taught by the instructor John Verosky. The course is worth 5 credits.

5. MATH 90, Precalculus Algebra

Precalculus Algebra covers real functions and their graphs. Students will learn about one-to-one and inverse functions for polynomial, rational,
exponential and logarithmic functions. Students will also learn about complex numbers and zeros of polynomials.

This course is worth 5 credits. In order to register for the course, students must have completed either MATH 60 or placement in MATH 90 + 90S or higher. The course is taught by professor Matt Bertens.

6. MATH 60, Intermediate Algebra

This course covers polynomials and rational expressions. Students will learn to solve linear, quadratic and rational equations. Students will also learn about complex numbers, exponential functions and logarithms.

This course is unique as it teaches valuable lessons students need such as problem-solving skills. The professor of the course is Matt Bertens. The course is worth 5 credits.

7. MATH 45, Preparation for Statistics

This course is an accelerated preparation for transfer-level statistics. Students will learn about algebra that prepares them for college-level statistics. Other topics include ratios, rates, proportional reasoning, fractions, decimals, and differentiating quantitative and categorical data.

This is a helpful course for those who need a refresher in statistical skills. This is great for students looking to take courses in finance and business. The professor of the course is Matt Bertens. The course requires students to have completed either MATH 30 or MATH 35 prior to register

8. MATH 40, Elementary Algebra

This course teaches about the operations of real numbers, and evaluations of polynomials. Students will learn about rational expressions, linear inequalities and graphing lines. What makes this course great is that students will gain helpful skills such as effective communication skills and problem-solving that are good for all majors.

9. MATH 43, Preparation for Liberal Arts Mathematics

This course is an accelerated preparation for transfer-level liberal arts mathematics. Students will learn about real numbers and their operations. This course will also teach about logic and sets.

This course requires students to have completed either MATH 30 or MATH 35. This course is worth 5 credits. The professor of the course is Matt Bertens.

10. MATH 30, Prealgebra with Basic Mathematics

This course covers addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of signed numbers. Students will learn about exponents and square roots. Students will also learn about rates, ratios, proportions, percents, perimeter and area.

The professor of the course is Matt Bertens. In order to register for the course, students will need to have completed High School math with a passing grade. The course is worth 5 credits.
