5 Best Places to Study at Colorado State University

When it comes to being a college student, a majority of our time is either spent studying, napping, or partying. When you need a quiet and cozy place to study, these are the best places to do so at Colorado State University:

1. Morgan’s Grind at the lib

If you are needing a cozy and warm place to study, Morgan’s Grind can give you the caffeine boost you need. A coffee shop right inside the library offers a quiet space to get homework done, snacks to buy to keep you energized, and is a  central location on campus. It not only serves Mary Mountain’s Cookies, but can give you a discount if you bring in your own coffee cup to fill.

2. Mugs Coffee on Laurel

If you are looking to get away from the student hub for awhile, Mugs Coffee on Laurel Street is the place to go. It offers a great selection of coffee as well as a place to relax and recuperate throughout the day. They have large spacious tables for you to spread out and also serve food. It is constantly buzzing and a perfect place to go when you are tired of all the campus spots.

3. BSB Building

The Behavioral Sciences Building is a new, modern building on campus that gives you a variety of study spaces. From comfy couches to tall tables, the BSB is a great place to study with a group or your friends. Although the main study tables are on the first floor, the other floors have great nooks to sit in if you need a quiet space or want to be alone when studying. Don’t forget to try out the coffee shop downstairs!

4. Third floor of the library

Although the library is an obvious place to study, the third floor is where you want to be. It provides a quiet, uncrowded area to get productive and get your work done. When you need a more comfortable space to be productive, there are couches and special lounges on the top floor as well.  Don’t underestimate the power of a study room either, which you can rent out each day for when you need it.

5. Sunken Lounge at the LSC

If you want to lounge around while you do your work, but don’t want to sit in silence, the Sunken Lounge at the LSC offers you snacks at the Ram Skellar, lively chatter, and plenty of couches and T.V.s to give you an upbeat atmosphere. It is a fun place to be with your friends and socialize while also getting in some much needed homework time.

If you are looking for a place to study on campus, each of these places can fit your mood and fit your style. They offer a variety of different resources, locations, and times for you to be able to get all of your work done. College is hard–studying is harder. Make sure you have a reliable place each time you have a big exam or project coming up. Try out all these amazing places when you get a chance!
