Psychology is a very popular major at Illinois State University. They offer about 95 psychology classes that psychology majors can take to satisfy their requirements. PSY 200 is Careers in Psychology and this class is teaches psychology majors all the careers that psychology majors can consider for their future. This is only a one credit hour class, and there is only one professor that teaches this course. So better sign up for this class before it gets filled up! This course does not fulfill any general education requirements, just psychology.
3. PSY 223
PSY 223 is Social Psychology and this class is a mixture of sociology and psychology. This class teaches how in different social scenes, individuals think, act, and feel in different ways. This class also teaches how to study individuals in social situations with interpersonal relations, research methods, and etc. This is a 3 credit hour class and it’s one of few psychology courses that offers and online course. This course also fulfills the social sciences requirement for ISU‘s general education requirement.
4. PSY 233
PSY 233 is Psychology Of Personality and this is one of the most popular psychology classes at ISU. In this class, students are taught how to examine theories like psychoanalysis, behaviorism, cognitivism, and biological theory relating to the nature of persons. This class also gets filled up very fast, so sign up ASAP! This is a 3 credit hour class and it’s also offered during the summer. This course also fulfills the social sciences requirement for ISU‘s general education requirement.
