10 Buildings at Riverside Community College You Need to Know
There are a number of buildings that can be on any given college campus. College campuses tend to come in either small or big, there is no in between. Below are some of the buildings that you need to know at Riverside Community College.
1. Student Center

This building brings the heart to campus. It is the ultimate space for students to meet up with one another. It includes a number of lounge areas, a ballroom, the school info desk, administrative offices, a cafe, and other dining options for students to utilize.
2. Landis Performing Arts Center

This building is home to the Landis Performing Arts Center. Here, students will find a number of practice rooms, dance studios, rehearsal rooms, classrooms, lecture halls, and lounge spaces. It is the hub of the performing and visual arts on campus.
3. Dr. Charles A. Kane Student Services and Administration Building

This building is home to a number of administrative offices that pertain to student affairs. It includes the Career Services, Counseling, Financial Aid, Academic Affairs, and the President's Office. Students will also find the Welcome Center and the Veteran's Welcome Center here as well.
4. Arthur N. Wheelock Gym

Let's get fit and get active! This building is home to the campus gymnasium. It is the home to the men's and women's basketball teams. Students will also be able to see the club basketball teams play games here. If you want to use this gym, you can do so during certain periods of the day.
5. Richard R Stover Music Hall

Do you like to watch musicals or concerts? This building is home to the Richard R Stover Music Hall in which students can watch a number of shows that range from vocal, choral, orchestrated bands, jazz, and even dance ensembles.
6. Salvatore G. Rotella Digital Library and Learning Resource Center

This library is home to the main campus library. It houses a number of online databases and thousands of books. Students will also be able to find computer labs, digital media services, printing services, study rooms, and quiet spaces here.
7. Alumni House

Are you graduating soon or have you already graduated? This building is home to the Alumni Association. Students will be able to up date their records, get their academic records, receive career services for life after college, and more.
8. Math and Sciences Building

Are you a math or science genius? Are you Albert Einstein? This building is home to both the math and science department. It houses a number of STEM equipment. Students will be able to learn in their classrooms, study rooms, team rooms, and labs here.
9. RCC Culinary Arts Academy

Address: 3801 Market Street, Riverside, CA 92501
This building is home to the Culinary Arts Academy. Here, students will have an opportunity to learn more about the culinary arts. This includes learning how to cook, learning how to tweak recipes, different equipment used, and the food industry.
10. Planetarium (Robert T. Dixon)

Address: Riverside, CA 92506
The Robert T. Dixon Planetarium is home to a mega screen where students, staff, faculty, and the general public can watch star shows. Students will also be able to watch select feature films here on select days. Come watch a few movies here to really reach for the stars!
