Looking to stay informed and in the loop at The College of New Jersey? Well, that’s easy! Just follow these easy, simple tips and you’ll know all that is happening on campus in no time!

1. Pick up the school newspaper

Pick up TCNJ’s newspaper, The Signal, to stay in the loop about campus wide news. You can pick up one these in the stud, Eick or from the towers!

2. Sign up to receive Text Alerts

If you have not already done so, set yourself up to receive notifications from the school. You can sign up for text alerts which will update you about any dangers on campus ranging from an intruder to any alerts from the surrounding Ewing area from Ewing police. To do so, type “text alerts” on the search toolbar on the TCNJ home page and click the first link for step by step instructions.

3. Check your TCNJ Email

Make sure to check your email daily. This is important for your academics in college, as professors will often send updates through your TCNJ email as well as with staying informed. If you are not signed up to receive text alerts, the same alerts are usually sent via your TCNJ email. Other upcoming events pertaining to fundraising or other things happening in campus also are sent through your email so checking up on your email from time to time is a great way to stay in the loop.

4. Report to Campus Police

In order for you to in turn help others and keep others informed, report any suspicious behavior you see. Make sure to store Campus Police’s number in your phone so you are able to do so: 609 -771 – 2345.
