1-California Institute of Technology

Ranking #7 in the Top US schools and #3 worldwide,  CalTech makes it first in terms of employability according to the THE (Times Higher Education) website. With a 76k salary after 10 years, CalTech does not make the first 5 rankings of the Top Universities website.



With a salary that can reach up to 91,000$ after 10 years, Harvard ranks second on employability but scores #1 for global reputation. According to the Top Universities ranking, Harvard gets the third place.


3- Columbia

With 39 Nobel Prize winners, Columbia ranks number 3 in terms of attracting employers according to the THE website. With a #2 ranking in the US and a salary of 74k after 10 years, Columbia ranks #7 on employability with the Top Universities Website.


4- MIT

According to the Times Higher Education website MIT makes it to the top 5  list, ranking as #4. With top faculty at hand, and with a huge pool of international admissions, MIT holds “35 Nobel Prizes, one Fields Medal, six Turing Awards and 71 United States National Medal of Science or Technology”. According to the Top Universities website MIT is also ranked  #4, with a salary that reaches 76,000 after 10 years.


5- Boston University

BU does not make it into the top 10 of the Top Universities website, but ranks #6 according to the THE.  Boston University attracts students from all over the world and is highly competitive in research and medicine.

6- Stanford University

Ranking #7 on the THE, Stanford makes it #1 according to the Top Universities rankings. With an 83k salary after 10 years, Stanford is an Ivy League that is distinguished for its scientific research.


7- Yale University

With notable alumni such as  Hillary Clinton ,John Kerry, and Meryl Streep, Yale is ranked 10th by THE , with a 76k salary after 10 years. It ties as #9 according to the Top Universities website with Cornell.


8- Princeton

Princeton ranks #11 on global employability with the THE and #8 on the Top Universities rankings with a 76k salary after 10 years and 24% of international students.


9- University of California, Berkeley

Berkeley catches the #20 ranking on employability with THE and does not make the list for Top Universities. Aside from the nutritious California sun, this university attracts around 36 000 students and ranks 40th in the US.


10- Johns Hopkins University

Johns Hopkins ranks #28 on Global employability according to the THE and does not make it to the top 10 list of the Top Universities ranking. Johns Hopkins is known for its fascinating medical and scientific contributions to the world.
