1. Customer Service Representative
In this role, the student will be working with the University Physicians – Customer Service Team. The rate of pay is $13.50 – $19.58 per hour. The task involves providing high-quality customer service to patients, departments, insurance companies & other entitles who require our services, by working the IDX patient accounts systems for both UP & HPA. This service is provided via the ACD phone system or face to face in a Customer Service Office. Work written patient correspondence. 2. Office Support Assistant II
In this role, the student will be working with the Parking and Transportation Services. The rate of pay is $12.00 – $15.72 per hour. 3. Package Handler – Part-Time
In this role, the student will be working with the United Parcel Service (UPS). Through the UPS Earn and Learn program, student employees receive all the paid benefits of a great part-time job with UPS, plus outstanding education assistance of up to $2,625 per semester / $5,250 per year with a maximum lifetime benefit of $25,000. 4. Telephone Interviewer- Part-Time
In this role, the student will be working with the School of Medicine – Department of Health Management and Informatics. The rate of pay $9.09 – $13.70 an hour. The task involves contacting the general public by phone or other means of data collection to conduct interviews using a computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) software for a variety of social projects. Follow appropriate procedures of data collection during the interviewing process. Use effective tactics to try to convert possible refusals to completion of interviews. Maintain professional behavior in interviewing people from all walks of life. 5. Veterinary Assistant – Kansas City
In this role, the student will be working with the Veterinary Medicine & Surgery. The rate of pay is $13.25 per hour. The task involves assisting veterinary technicians and staff veterinarian in providing efficient high-quality patient care. All tasks performed by the assistant will be in compliance with the required levels of supervision as outlined by the Missouri Veterinary Medical Board (MVMB). 6. Food Service Worker
In this role, the student will be working with the campus dining services department. The rate of pay is $8.63 – $13.37 an hour. The task involves basic food preparation, service, and/or sanitation tasks. Prepare food according to instructions. Follow proper food handling techniques. Assist in completing the Serving Line Worksheets. Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and secure working area. Set up service/preparation areas as assigned. Provide high-quality service to customers; assist in meeting the department’s customer service objectives. Direct, help train and assist student employees in food preparation and service. In this role, the student will be working with Public Services – Children’s Team of the Daniel Boone Regional Library. The rate of pay is $13.59 an hour. The task involves providing readers advisory, information, user instruction, computer and programming services to the public.
