The University of New Hampshire has so much to offer its Wildcats during their four years in college. There are so many things that UNH students should experience before they become alumni. Here are the top 5 things every UNH student should experience before they are former Wildcats!

1. Tailgating on homecoming weekend. 

Homecoming weekend at UNH is something everyone should experience. The whole community comes together, and school spirit definitely shines through. 2. Eating at DHOP. 

Something that should be on everyone’s to-do list that is very easy to accomplish. Within days as a freshman at UNH, you will hear about the amazing pizza at Durham House of Pizza. Make sure you take a walk down Main St. at least once and grab lunch at DHOP with your friends. You won’t want to miss out on the great pizza for cheap prices!Image result for dhop unh

3. Go to a UNH hockey game. 

As we all know, most students at the University of New Hampshire count down the days until hockey season begins. The team is fired up, the crowd is supportive and bursting with school spirit, and every UNH student should be there to witness it. 4. See Portsmouth, NH. 

If you’re looking to get away from campus for the day, take a trip to Portsmouth, NH. Just 20 minutes away from campus, the little town with shops and good food is the perfect way for any UNH student to spend a day. 5. Travel to the White Mountains. 

One of the best things about UNH is it’s convenient location in New Hampshire. With the White Mountains being absolutely breath-taking, and the UNH campus being only an hour away from them, make it a point to plan a trip for a weekend.
