Calling all UNH students! One of the most important things you can do during your college career is to get involved on campus. By doing this, you will make connections, make friends, and make the most of your time at the university! Here are 5 student organizations to get involved in on campus this semester!

1.Become a tour guide.

Becoming a tour guide at the University of New Hampshire will assist you in learning more about your school, while also being able to show it off to prospective students. You will be able to give tours of the university to groups of parents and future students, attend the orientations for freshmen, and get to speak with prospective students about your experiences at UNH. You will also receive free UNH gear. If you are looking for something to join, and you want to show off some school pride, become a tour guide this semester! Image result for unh tour guides

2. Project Sunshine.

Project sunshine is a UNH student org that is also connected to a national organization. Through this org, you will have the opportunity to spend the day with children at hospitals in the New England area. You will also have the opportunity to fund raise for families of the children in the hospitals, as well as volunteer to help them with other things throughout their time spent in the hospital with their children. A life changing experience that allows you to provide so much help to those in need.Image result for unh project sunshine

3. A club associated with your major.

A lot of clubs on campus are related to the many different majors that the campus has to offer. Join a club associated with your major to spend more time with other people majoring in the same field, and to make connections to professors and other professionals already in the field. Clubs associated with your major also look great on resume’s when applying to jobs after college! Image result for student orgs unh

4. Animal Affiliation Club.

If you love animals and want to help those in need during this semester, look into this club. You are able to volunteer at local shelters, fund raise to help animals in need, and spend some time with animals that still need to be adopted! Image result for animal affiliation unh

Kayleigh McElroy

Hi! My name is Kayleigh McElroy and I am a student at the University of New Hampshire! Being on campus has taught me a lot about learning how to manage my time, cope with stress, and adjust to the different living conditions! I hope to supply my fellow college students with advice and comfort on all of the situations that come along with being a college student.
