As most of us probably know, semesters can get very busy in no time at all. This can make it hard for college students to take the time to make sure that their body is healthy and that they are still leading a healthy lifestyle. However, the University of New Hampshire makes this easier for students. At UNH, you will be able to stay focused on your academics, and be sure that you have a healthy body! Here are 5 ways that UNH makes it easier to stay healthy.

1. Every student has constant access to the gym.

With the Hamel Rec Center at your fingertips, there is no reason why you shouldn’t take advantage of this. This gym is filled with tons of different machines, an indoor track, and tons of other work out space. Head over to the gym, find what makes working out most enjoyable for you, and make a routine out of it to assure that you have a healthy body throughout the semester.

2. The dining halls are filled with healthy foods.

The dining halls at UNH are filled with lots of fruits, veggies, yogurts, salads, etc. for students to eat and enjoy. The next time you head over to the dining hall with friends, push yourself to choose the healthier option, and dig in to some fruits, some salad, or some greek yogurt and granola.

If you thought that your sports careers ended in high school, you thought wrong. With UNH being such a large university, there are so many students looking to play their sport with others! Find an intramural sport that you think you will enjoy and sign up to get your body moving and exercising in a fun way!

5. There are many filtered water fountains around.

It is very important to make sure that you stay hydrated during your time at school. Luckily, UNH has lots of filtered water fountains installed throughout the buildings on campus to give students access to good tasting drinking water all the time.
