1. Boris Kodjoe

Boris Kodjoe, a VCU class of 1996, graduating with a marketing degree is famous for his modeling and acting profession. He is best known for his roles in the 2002 film Brown Sugar, the Showtime series Soul Food, and Fox’s Last Man on Earth. And he currently stars on BET’s Real Husbands of Hollywood and on CBS’ medical drama Code Black.

2. Stephen Furst

Stephen Furst was famous for his acting, film, and television career. Some of his famous acting roles include Kent Dorfman in National Lampoon’s Animal House and as Dr. Elliot Axelrod in the series St. Elsewhere. He also directed the 2001 film ‘Title to Murder’ and produced many films including ‘My Sister’s Keeper’.

3. Chris Adler

Chris Adler is a drummer best known as a member of the bands Lamb of God and Nitro. Later, he became a member of the thrash metal band Megadeth playing in their 15th album Dystopia which was awarded “Best Metal Performance” at the 59th Grammy Awards.

4. Stefan Lessard

Stefan Lessard is an American musician best known as a member of the Dave Matthews Band. He became a member of the band at age 16. After taking the GED, Lessard began his studies under the Jazz Studies program at VCU but ended up cutting it short because of the struggles of balancing college student life and being a member of a band.

5. Debbie Matenopoulos

Debbie Matenopoulos is best know for her roles as a television host. She is currently a co-host of The Home and Family Show and is also the host of The Insider. She has also appeared multiple times on other TV shows such as Saturday Night Live.

Deniz Erdag

Deniz Erdag is a current Computer Science student as well as a Mathematics student at Virginia Commonwealth University. Currently a sophomore at VCU, he is on track to graduate with a masters in computer science in 2021 under the accelerated masters program.
