Wayne State University is a public university located in Detroit, Michigan. This school is the third largest university in Michigan, with over 27,000 undergraduate students. Here's ten of the buildings on campus that you need to know!

1. Bonstelle Theater

The Bonstelle Theater is a giant theater build in 1902 as the Temple Beth-El. It is registered as a national historic place as of 1982. This theater has been used by Wayne State for musical and theater art purposes.

2. Walter P. Reuther Library

Walter P. Reuther Library holds the stores of the Labor and Urban Affairs Office. However, they have millions of other documents available ranging from many different topics. This building has plenty of study spaces as well.

3. Biological Sciences

The Biological Sciences Building is one of the newest buildings on campus, with very modern architecture. This building has tons of advanced laboratories and classrooms for students to use.

4. Danto Engineering Development

The Danto Engineering Development is attached to the Wayne State Engineering College. This building was build in 2007, and cost the university over $27 million to build. This building is very advanced and has tons of useful laboratories.

5. Hilberry Theater

Another theater on the Wayne State campus is Hilberry Theater. This theater is more focused on theater and dance rather than music. Soon, this building will become the main theater on campus, since Bonstelle Theater is soon to be decommissioned.

6. Law School Building

The Law School building is a giant building on the Wayne State campus. This building is mainly for graduate Law students. However, undergraduates are allowed to come in and use their resources and library stores.

7. Life Science Building

Another important science based building is the Life Science building. It was originally built back in 1959, but is still kept very up to date. This building has plenty of classrooms and laboratories for students to use.

8. Mort Harris Recreation Center

The Mort Harris Recreation Center is a massive gym on the Wayne State campus. This building has tons of exercise machines and equipment for students to use, as well as a massive indoor basketball court.

9. Old Main Building

The Old Main Building is one of the older buildings on campus, as you can tell from the architecture. This building was originally built in 1896 as the main class building. Today, it is home to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

10. Tom Adams Field

Tom Adams Field is a giant football stadium at Wayne State, where the home team's football games are held. There is limited seating here, but there is a great mile track for public use around the field.
