10 Buildings at West Chester University You Need to Know
There are a number of buildings that students should know while attending a college. This is so they can familiarize themselves with the campus, and so that they know where they are going. With over 17,000 students, West Chester University is really accounted for its big campus presence. Below we have compiled a list of some of the top ten buildings that you need to know at West Chester University!
1. Main Hall

This building is home to a large number of classrooms, large lecture halls and spaces, and the offices for the English, History, Communication Studies, Languages and Cultures, and Women's and Gender Studies departments. Students will also find a quad area outside.
2. Sturzebecker Health Science Center

Address: 855 S. New Street West Chester, PA 19383
This building is located on the south side of campus. Here, students will find the Dean of Health and Sciences and its various departments. It includes the departments of Health, Kinesiology, Nursing, and Sports Medicine. Students will also find swimming pools and fitness rooms for students to use when they become available.
3. Farrell Stadium

Do you like to watch football, track, soccer, or even lacrosse? This outdoor and indoor facility is home to the stadium that is located on the southern part of campus. Here, students will be able to watch football games, track and field games, and even see the stage in which they will grace upon graduating.
4. Swope Music Building and the Performing Arts Center

This building is home to the School of Music. Here, students will find a number of classrooms, auditoriums, rehearsal halls, gallery for art, an academic wing, an interior courtyard, and a number of practice rooms. It also houses the Presser Music Library that contains music books, recordings, scores, and music periodicals.
5. 13/15 University Avenue

This building is home to a number of offices and departments. This includes the offices for Publications, Social Equity, Cultural Affairs and Conference Services, Marketing, and Public Relations. If you need anything from faculty within these departments, they are here to help!
6. Student Recreation Center

Looking to get fit? Gained the freshmen 15 and need to get back to the beach bod you once had? This building is home to the Student Recreation center which houses basketball course, a multi-use court, a climbing wall, elevated running track, spinning room, fitness area, and a social lounge.
7. Francis Harvey Green (FHG) Library

Whether you need to study or just have a quiet space or even conduct some research, the library houses a number of resources for you to do just that! This includes over 5 million items online and special book collections, printing services, and more. This library also houses a l library Starbucks coffee shop for when you need a study break!
8. Merion Science Center

This is the home of the department of Physics, Geology, and Astronomy. Students have access to modern-based science labs, individual faculty research spaces, animal research spaces, greenhouses, and offices for the departments of Physics, Astronomy, and Geology.
9. E.O. Bull Center for the Arts

Address: 2 E. Rosedale Ave West Chester, PA 19383
This building is the home of the department of Art, Theater, and Dance. Students will find a number of classrooms and art studios here. Students will also find the Main Stage Theater here which his located on the ground floor of the building.
10. Anderson Hall

Address: 725 S. Church St West Chester, PA 19383
This building is home to the Academic Computing center. Students will find a number of classrooms, study rooms, and offices for the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Economics & Finance, Management, Philosophy, and more. It's located on the western part of campus.
