Half of the mental disorders being before 14 years old. Stigma prevents people from seeking mental health care. Integrates science, theory and practice to understand, predict and alleviate maladjustment. Clinical psychology and to support personal development aspects of human functioning across the lifespan, in varying cultures and at all economic levels. Evidence (of above) ideal conditions not qualitative or theoretical studies. Clients have problems now and can not a ord to wait for research. No research evidence for some problems faced daily. Each individual"s unique presentation (life culture, context, experience) makes it unlikely that general principles can provide much useful guidance. Clinical psychologists will respect the dignity and welfare of all individuals and groups with whom they have professional contact. Clinical psychologists will demonstrate continuing competence in their practice of clinical psychology that includes adequate knowledge, skill, judgement and care. Clinical psychologists will aim to maximise bene t and do no harm in their practice of psychology.
