- - 2 groups: Receiving either placebo or nasal spray of oxytocin
- - Play an economic trust game as trustee or investor.
- - Each investor has $12 & can invest 0, 4, 8 or 12 to the trustee (all money invested
is automatically tripled).
- - Trustee then gives back as much money as they choose.
- - Each person plays a single game & are anonymous (though they all spend time in a
waiting room full of other people prior to the game).
- - In one condition people are told they are playing against a real person in another
room… and in a second condition they are told they are playing against a computer
