- Groundwater – Smith appropriately points out that we have been communicating since birth but
interestingly enough, some of us are still not masters at communicating.
- The complex process of communication revolves around the fact that a message is sent and then
received and then interpreted. The final “message” received is not always the intended ‘sent”
message. Why? What affects the quality of communication?

of these interactions is crucial.
