Region: broader area of earth distinguished by a distinct combination of cultural and/or physical features. Area formally defined by government, well defined boundaries. Area organised around a node (focal point), fuzzy boundaries. Area identified based on cultural identities, bound to change and subjective to your point of view. What people care about (beliefs, values and customs) What people take care of (obtaining food, shelter, clothing, money)
