Symptoms: pain in the affected bone: occasional to severe and constant. Benign tumors swelling at the site of the tumor tumors can cause night swats or fevers. These tumors form near the activity growing ends. Location: long bones, such as arm, hands or leg bones. Occur in adults (end of the bone(distal femur), not in the growth plate. ) An enchondroma is a cartilage cyst that grows inside the bone marrow. when they occur, they begin in children and persist as adults. Location: hands and feet as well as the long bones of the arm and thigh. Can produce bone extension (outer table of the skill). Abnormality of blood vessels that begins in the bone marrow affecting growth plates. Unicameral and fulfilled by fluids with a fibrous wall. Xr and ct: parallel to long bone, medullar canal, thinning of cortex. Mri: cartilage thickness produces high signal on t2.
