particular contexts, as well as considering other things such as the cost etc., do the benefits outweigh the
cost?
What we can do…
- Reading the literature

Where to find eidence…
- Peer reviewed literature
- Clinical guidelines
- Cochrane collaboration
- Policies and procedures
What to take aay…
- Evidence guides clinical decisions (ask answerable questions and find literature)
- Appraise the literature (validity and generalisability)

preferences
- Using evidence provided for patient
