Key factors that influence development: cohort (the different generation or age group you"re born in can affect the way you grow up. With more money, we have more access to resources and helps us grow as people. With no money, there is no education, no new opportunities so that might hinder our growth: refers to our education and income, developed world nations are defined by their wealth, high median per person incomes. Widespread access to education, medical care, technology: developing world countries stand in sharp contrast to these most affluent world regions. May not have indoor plumbing, clean running water or access to education: culture and ethnicity (the culture we were introduced to as kids help develop our mindsets and morals and values. So every culture can impact different social development: collectivist cultures (asia, africa, south america)
