Aversion therapy e. g. sexual offenders, substance abuse. Antecedent conditions prompt behaviour which produce consequences. Crimes often result in positive reward eg. theft, rape. Crimes result in negative reward eg. murder. Positive punishment = nes/imprisonment. negative punishment = loss of a job. Limitations = lack of free will to affect decisions we make (thoughts/emotions). Considers motivation - external reinforcement, vicarious reinforcement or self-reinforcement to continue the behaviour. Stimuli produce behavioural consequences - attention, retention, reproduction, motivation and understanding.
