"psychology is the study of the mind and behaviour. The discipline embraces all aspects of the human experience - from the functions of the brain to the actions of nations, from child development to care for the aged. In every conceivable setting from scientific research centres to mental healthcare services, "the understanding of behaviour" is the enterprise of psychologists. " Biological psychology is focuses on the brain function and the nervous system through activities such as feeling, thinking and sensing. The best ways that it can be applied is through iq tests and genetic research. Techniques used are things such as mris and cat scans. Clinical psychology is being able to assess and diagnose mental illnesses, such as depression and anxiety, and also psychological problems. Research can be carried out to work out how to treat the patient with the mental illness, which can then be done in clinics, hospitals and schools.
