The first type of computation happened in 4000 bc with clay tablets. There was also wax paper in 1400 bc. Slate tablets began being used in 1400"s (ad) Paper kinda came into existence during the 1800"s. The analytic engine; when he introduced the concept of memory. Human computers, writing down tables of logs showcased themselves in the 1600"s. During the industrial revolution in the 1800"s a lot of people got calculators. In the late 1900s, they came up with punched cards. The first large computer that was created was called the atanasoff-berry and it used vacuum tubes, also in the 1940s. Eniac, programmed with wires, was also created in the 1940s. Edvac, had stored memory, created in the 1940s. Ssem, small scale experiment machine, used crt memory, created in the 1940s. A computer language called the assembly language was written in 1951. Another programming language, but for scientists, was created in 1957.
