Spinal cord: grey matter: contain cell bodies of efferent and afferent neurons, white matter: in the sc consists of nerve fibres carrying information to and from brain. Tracts: carry bundles of nerve fibres with common purpose. Medulla oblongata- automatic functions of internal organs. 1 divided into 4 lobes (cortex of the left and right cerebral hemisphere divided into four lobes: parietal lobe frontal lobe.
