What are the second world country? brazil, india, china, but not as much brazil anymore. Think of infectious disease as a whole, you can see how in the world of cause of death or the century it is infectious disease and tropical diseases is smaller. Pharmaceutical companies are not interested in making drugs and vaccines for people who cannot afford them.
