Document Summary

How we learnt o express emotions and our emotional intelligence. An evolutionary approach attempts to interpret way to which psychological aspects of the brain correlate with emotion. Two critical aspects that determine the importance of evolutionary perspective: how we adapt to our emotions and the resulting functions, how emotions evolve over time. The environment we live in determines what we feel and when we feel it. Humans live in a delayed return environment therefore effecting our levels of stress and anxiety in ways it originally was not created for. On & off eye contact before still face. Keeps eye contact after still face; trying all possible ways to get a reaction. Becomes stressful when not getting a response from the mother. Every face has a certain survival need. Emotions have functions & we have to determine what the reasoning for a particular emotion is.
