Child labour taints many of the products that we use in the west many of the products are made with child labour. We know about child labour because international media and technology began to alert us to the sordid aspects of globalization. Saving working children has become an international effort. Almost half of child labourers are below the minimum age. Vast majority of child labourers work in agriculture family farms. Convention 138 minimum age standards for developing countries (generally 18 for hazardous work; 14 basic minimum age; 12-14 for light work) Children in employment children 5-17 who worked at least one hour in the previous. Child labour children who work in hazardous occupations, or those who are under the minimum employment age covered in ilo 182. Hazardous work worst forms of child labour are children working in occupations.
