Rostra: speakers platform in forum; comitium for the assembly of people (not relevant imperial period = paved over because too small) Caesar is made god and offered a temple. Caesar"s heir his great nephew octavian: aka augustus declares him the divine julius (divus julius) Temple at the spot of cremation in 43 bc = augustus now son of a god: triumph and the forum. Pompa (parade) route through the city for the general and his victorious army. From campus martius through forum up to the capitoline hill: roman triumph and jupiter. Procession ends at the temple of jupiter on capitoline with sacrifice by a general or the emperor.
