Lecture 18; week 6 february 8th 2016. Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence -aristotle. Education is about learning, job preparation, memorization, a means to an end, etc. Education is less important unless it gets you something later, such as job or degree. Psychology usually focuses on pathology (ie, problems) rather than positives. Depression, neurosis, obsessions, paranoia, delusions, etc rather than happiness.
