It says something about the human relation with nature. She finds a chaotic place instead, more nonsense, the opposite of a paradise despite the bright flowers and cool fountains. It"s a place of danger a threat of the challenge, the queen. The utopic vision of the wonderland is returned to the end of the novel when we have the sister reflecting on the dream. The idea of childhood as this golden age, as a romatic notion of childhood(122-24). What story did her sister hear, b/c her sister makes it seam very different. Is there a disconnect with how the sister frames alice"s instances and how they are shown in the book.
