Originally, under dave fern, the company was known for excellent customer service and quality of work. what differentiated mmc from its competitors was the fact that. Customers knew they would be treated fairly and charged a just price at mmc. Business ethics is the study of proper business policies and practices regarding potentially controversial issues, such as corporate governance, insider trading, bribery, discrimination, corporate social responsibility and fiduciary responsibilities. Ethics also apply to an organizations strategic method of making ethical decisions on how to conduct business and treat employees. Two part-time sales stall earn more than many of the full-time staff. The conflict here is the two individuals happen to good friends with the sales manager and are frequently given the best shifts, evenings and weekends. Response to this situation is that he wants the best people to cover the busiest shifts and has nothing to do with personal friendship. Everyone should be treated fairly, regardless of personal relationships.
