Represent the non-dominant group as people being irrational. The knights tale shows the fight for the woman as noble. The millers tale shows that they just want the women to sleep with. He is undercutting the knights story about chivalrous and courtliness because the characters in his story probably wanted to sleep with her too. The millers tale is just a tale about people in his own class. The carpenters household: the carpenter, allison, they have a room to rent out. 1 day of work pays for the entire semester but paying for boarding is expensive. It was very cheap to go to school. We have reconstructed the middle ages to seem so pious but not everyone during the time was very pious. They had inappropriate pieces of art all over churches. She is wealthy and she shows it. She possibly forced them to an early grave. She is gapped tooth which is a sign of luxury (physiognomy)
