Why the Americas?
Why treat the Americas as a region when there are so many differences? It is
important because relationships among the nations in the Americas have
been crucial for shaping history of those individual countries. We can learn
more about individual countries by comparing them with other countries. No
country exists in isolation from others.
Not only are there relationships between all the countries in north America,
but those relationships are unequal
