Posterior 3 posterior divisions: cords of brachial plexus extend for form branches (peripheral nerves) Lateral cord extends to form the musculocutaneous nerve. Lateral & medial cord extends to form the median nerve. Medial cord extends to form the ulnar nerve. Posterior cord extends to form radial and axillary nerves. Ulnar (med/post/then ant) medial forearm and hand flexors. Median entrapment neuropathy: when the median nerve gets compressed, treated by wearing a splint to prevent flexion, or surgically cutting the retinaculum.
