David"s romanic vision is one way of understanding the world, once the predominant epistemology literature represents a yearning towards an as-yet unfulilled desire: the need to ill out with sound the overlarge and rather empty human soul . David tells his class yet we cannot live our daily lives in the realm of pure ideas, cocooned from sense-experience. The quesion has to be, can we ind a way for the two to co- exist? .
