Creaky voice (vocal/glottal fry) (arytenoid are tightly closed; but more control where the v. f. are not really tightly together but more slacking so you could see them vibrating) old people, smokers. Falsetto (v. f. held very tightly together only allows vibration at edges of v. f. , not considered a linguistic feature more sociolinguistic)
