Problems and solutions 2: labour unions, their challenge, and their potential. You don"t have say in the job where you work. Unions are still working hard to create unity and equality. Strength in numbers everyone has to work together. Funded for the collection of dues (you pay to be part of the union) Services are given like education programs, legal support. It"s your organization, you"re the one being represented. Unions are like cars: the speed and where you go depends on the people driving but you know that it"s gonna have the basis of a wheel and tires and a frame. Most unions have committees that focus on certain issues. They run campaigns on certain issues they wants people to be aware of. They are part of coalitions- 2 groups coming together to reach a common goal. Solidarity-unity (common ground, support despite differences -empathy is when you understand their perspective. Sympathy is when you pity the person.
