The goal is to produce a correct, well-formed paragraph or essay or whatever which a teacher will evaluate. Process of writing is the writer moving backwards and forward between drafting and revising, with replanning in-between. Teacher gives tasks a purpose and context. Student not thinking of their written message just from their perspective but how a reader will react to it. Students read their rough drafts and evaluate it. The structure of a paragraph, essay, business letter etc. The structure of components such as intro and conclusions. Make observations about what went well and could be improved upon.
