Error and ignorance are not real and positive ideas. To be an error means the lack or absence of some knowledge. Each cause taken separately would not be the cause for error; need both. We say yes and no to things that are outside our understanding. If we affirm what is clearly and distinctly perceived we cannot make mistakes.
