Communicative virtues: how they help learning experiences. Sport in early canada: first nations and colonists. Nomadic: anything that involves moving around a lot. Nomadic hunter- gatherer tribes follow the animals they hunt, carrying tents with them. Majority information/reports about first nations is from european colonist and the roman catholic church. First nations sports and games can tell us about organization (geographical, social) and social culture. Language groups and geographical area helps us understand the ways of the native groups. Sports and games that each culture played depended on their geographical region and their available resources ex: lacrosse played in canada required fields. These games connected ppl culturally and socially. Games was a way to show your physical attributes ex: endurance: ex: lacrosse= endurance, was never a timed sport. Valuable skills were shown in these games.
