Ministers of the government ( appointed by prime minster) minister or health , minister of educated , minister of transportation etc. By custom must be members of the house of commons. Have had people appointed from the senate or without a seat (they need to win one fast) you need a seat in the house of commons usually if an mp steps down and etc. Of cially in charge of the machinery of government, each minister has a portfolio and section to look after. Often have no experience , usually due to the support of the party. Government continues to govern as long as it has the con dence of legislature. Cabinet is responsible ( or accountable) to the people via legislature( ie question period, asking if they have con dence in the government) Individual responsible means that ministers are responsible for everything that happens in their section and for everything below themselves.
