A wwii sociological study of the morale of black american soldiers. Were these black soldiers more satisfied with army life when they were stationed at a military base in the northern united. Soldiers at the southern united states were happier/had more morale. They gave soldiers recreational time to go off base. Southern raised men going to the north would be perplexed that the northern black men are doing better than that of the south. Then in turn would realize that their life was worse. However, in the south they would realize that being out in the community was worse than that of being in the military therefore making their morale more than that of the north.
