Description
Cerebral palsy
A motor disorder caused by damage to the cerebrum at the time of
birth.
Schizoprenia
A psychotic illness characterized by hallucinations, delusions and
bizarre behaviour.
Spinal Paralysis
A loss of feeling and movement caused by traumatic damage to the
spinal cord.
Alzheimer’s Disease
A progressive degenerative disease characterized by dementia and is
always fatal.
Parkinson’s Disease
A severe disorder to the brain that usually leads to having difficulty
initiating voluntary movement.
Depression
A mood disorder characterized by insomnia, loss of appetite, and
feelings of dejection.
Stroke
A loss of brain function caused by disruption of the blood supply that
usually leads to permanent motor, sensory or cognitive deficit.
Epilepsy
A condition characterized by disruption of the brain electric activity
that usually leads to seizures, loss of consciousness and sensory
disturbances.
Multiple Sclerosis
A severe disease that affects nerve conduction characterized by
episodes of weakness, lack of coordination and speech disturbances.
