Group: consists of a number of individuals assembled together or a number of individuals having a shared relationship. (same program) Dynamics: refer to a pattern or process of change, growth, or activity. Group dynamics: coined by kurt lewin, father of social psychology, interactionism formula to explain group phenomena, behaviours is a function of how personal characteristics interact with environmental factors (internal vs external factors). Why is it important: more likely that you will be working in group settings: coworkers, participants ect, prepares us to: adjust leadership approach, understand groups behaviour, respond appropriately, improve the effectiveness.
