Behaviour is meaningful too]behaviours take on paricular meanings in paricular social contexts cultural sociology analyses these systems of meaning ex) tatoos have meaning in culture. Relaionship between culture and society humaniies perspecive: culture is autonomous from society sociology, culture is inluenced by social factors, link between culture and society. Weeds clip cultural objects do not relect society idealise or sensaionalise aspect of social experience. Meaning as a site of social conlict people manipulate symbolic systems to their social advantage systems of meaning are tool of dominaion.
