Different shapes can create beauty as well. Problem many works of art purposefully made w/o beauty & harmony. Art used to convey emotions (joy, loneliness, anxiety, etc. ) Some ideas better expressed through art than words. Art can help people to perceive, manipulate, or grapple w/ reality. Pushing the envelope/thinking out of the box. Always someone defining good vs. bad art. E. g. flesh dress: vanity vs. anorexia. Issues relating to women"s sense of their bodies ( meat market : art challenges us to think & rethink our world and ourselves.
