It structures what we see in the media, how we u(cid:374)dersta(cid:374)d the (cid:449)orld arou(cid:374)d us. Idea of pastoral quebec comes into conflict with montreal: urban space resists easy definition, questioning of nationalist project, nationalism loves straight forward narratives, it loves unity. It likes the idea that we can share common stories: cities are harder to connect to nationalism.
