How problems lead to i don"t know, we fail to solve an intellectual problems. Figuring out how to do it requires thinking and problem solving. Guess what eld is best suited to study thinking and problem solving - cognitive. The human modelling side of cognitive science studies how people actually solve problems, and all o the other cognitive function it takes to do it. The ai engineering side of cognitive science tries to make programs that can solve problems for us. However ai"s and other programs can make humans more e ective, used as tools. Perhaps cog science can help us solve all these problems. Even if there is some other problem you think is more important, you can apply cog science to it. How we evolved to perceive things as real.
