Not counting all of the ones that don"t exist any more. Nature of them being so popular is because of distinct feature. Most religion doesn"t have scripture, big five does. This allows it to be spread more easily. This feeling last about 3 months after someone dies. We think their minds or souls are still alive. We have a difficulty understanding death because only dead people have ever experienced it. If something is learned it will get stronger over time. If you do experiments on babies you can find more evidence for innate traits. Dualist: the mind is a separate entity from the body. Best kind of god is mainly from one ontology but has some factors from other ontologies. Ex: ghost is like a person but has no body. If there are too many ontological violations then it won"t be believed. God"s or new religions must only have a few supernatural claims in order to be believed.
