Tiberius Gracchus (168 – 133BC)
Tiberius had a father that was a famous consuls and military leader. His mother comes from the Scipio Family. He
did his military service like every other Roman boy but his fame come from his time as a quaestor. Were he was in charge of
finding agreement with their emery’s instead of fighting.
He was then elected tribune in 133BC. He proposed that they should take back land lost during the wars and find
tenant to leave on the land rent free.
During his running for a second year in tribune he was assassinated to keep his from wining.
Gaius Gracchus (159 – 121BC)
Gaius is Tiberius younger brother. He was place administer of scheme when Tiberius new bill came to pass.
Nine year after his brother’s assassination he was elected tribune two year in a row. In power Gaius reinstated his
brothers land bill, gave a lot of the surrounding Latium’s a Roman citizenship and gave right to the surrounding and friendly
cities of Italy. Right like being able to trade in Rome and to marry Romans.
While running for his third year the senate retorted to terrorism once again. They found someone to run for tribune
again him. Once Gaius realised that he could not win he had his slaves stab him to death.
Gaius Marius (157 – 86 BC)
Gaius first say his military service in Spain. Upon returning he married a women mane Julia and became an uncle
by marriage to Julius Caesar. He was appointed the military pose in Africa, and fought many year against Jugurtha. Gaius
grew his army by guaranteeing victory and a steady job. He also introduced a new way of training. Gaius’ army did very well
against Jugurtha and his men and had a fast victory.
After many year in tribune Gaius was exiled and keep hidden with the help of his adopted son. After many year of
hiding the set foot in the ruin city of Carthage. Cornelius Cinna and Gaius Marius together raised a small army. And
defended themselves from the Romans.
It is believed that he died of old age.
Sulla (138 – 78BC)
When Sulla came into power he made a list stating all of the man he wanted killed. The list was formulated of about
40 senators and 1600 equestrians. Sulla then put the power back into the hands of the rich and double the membership of
the senate. He made it that holding an quaestor an automatic qualification for membership of the senate
